Meet Sabina
I'm a communications strategist and the founder of Rooted Strategies — and I believe strong movements are built the same way healthy ecosystems are: with care, patience, and attention to what people actually need to grow.
I spent nearly a decade leading communications for mission-driven organizations, most recently as Communications Director at Hunger Free Vermont, where I built the communications program from scratch and helped shape the strategy behind Vermont's landmark universal school meals victory.
Through Rooted Strategies, I partner with nonprofits, movements, and heart-led businesses on everything from narrative change and marketing strategy to hands-on capacity support — helping teams build something sustainable without burning out in the process.
Outside of work, I'm a certified yoga teacher — a practice that shapes how I show up as a leader and communicator: with a deep commitment to developing strategies that open up possibility, creativity, and a bold vision for the future.
